Moonlight Peaks Invites You to Go Goth in Frightfully Fun New Demo, Available Today on Windows PC and Nintendo Switch™
Latest Trailer Debuts at Wholesome Direct 2026; New Demo Available Now and Physical Nintendo Switch™ 2 Edition Announced
Marvelous Europe and Little Chicken Game Company today joined the Wholesome Direct showcase to reveal an eerily cozy new trailer for their upcoming supernatural (un-)life sim Moonlight Peaks, releasing digitally on Nintendo Switch™ 2, Nintendo Switch™, Windows PC via Steam, and Google Play Games on 7 July 2026. Alongside a deeper look into the nightlife of the titular town and its colourful cast of supernatural residents, the publisher announced a new demo available now on PC and Nintendo Switch™.
Marvelous Europe also confirmed that a physical Nintendo Switch™ 2 Edition will launch across Europe on 28 August 2026 for €49.99 / £44.99. The physical edition includes an exclusive collectible sticker sheet featuring fan-favourite residents of Moonlight Peaks, alongside a digital soundtrack.
Sprinkled with mystery and magic, the all-new demo welcomes prospective residents to experience character creation, magical mini-games, new interactions with the town's charming inhabitants, and a deeper glimpse into the relaxing afterlife that awaits in the full game. The demo is available to download now for free via Steam and Nintendo eShop, with the Nintendo Switch™ version fully playable on Nintendo Switch™ 2.
Digital pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch™ and Nintendo Switch™ 2 versions are now available in Europe at €34.99 / £29.99 and €39.99 / £34.99 respectively. Players who purchase the Nintendo Switch™ version will be able to upgrade to the Nintendo Switch™ 2 version via an Upgrade Pack available at launch for €5.00 / £5.00.
To celebrate launch, players on Steam and Google Play Games will be able to take advantage of a special 15% launch discount for the first seven days after release. The standard edition on Steam & Google Play will be available for €34.99 / £29.99 before the launch discount is applied.
